Black Ops 2 ‘Revolution’ DLC Is Now Live For Xbox 360 Players

If you’re an Xbox 360 Black Ops 2 player who’s always wanted to start a revolution well then today is your lucky day!

The ‘Revolution’ DLC for Black Ops 2 is now live for Xbox 360 players via the Xbox Live Marketplace. The hefty DLC pack (1.86GB total) is free for Season Pass holders; if you don’t have the Season Pass you’ll have to pony up 1200 MS Points ($14.99) to take part in the Revolution.

So what does this new Revolution bring? For competitive multiplayer fans there are four new multiplayer maps and a brand new weapon; the Peacekeeper SMG. More cooperative-minded players can sink their teeth into the new Zombies mode map aptly titled “Die Rise.” And lastly, both competitive and Zombies fans can try out the all-new Turned multiplayer mode.

In Turned, one player spawns as a human while all the others spawn as flesh-eating zombies. Whichever zombie manages to feast on the human player’s brains first will spawn as a new human survivor and the wonderful cycle of flesh-eating goodness will continue.

For now PS3 and PC players will have to make do with all of the non-Revolution multiplayer content, though a few rumors and leaks suggest that ‘Revolution’ could be coming to PS3 and PC as early as February 28th.
