This Saturday, May 2nd, Image Comics will celebrate Free Comic Book Day 2015 with a free issue of Savage Dragon Legacy and Tales of Honor.
Written and illustrated by Erick Larsen, Savage Dragon Legacy #1 follows Malcolm Dragon as he joins the Chicago Police Department. Released under the Top Cow imprint, Tales of Honor #1 is based on David Weber’s sci-fi military novels featuring Honor Harrington. The comic book adaptation is written by Matt Hawkins and illustrated by Jung-Guen Yoon.

In addition to Image Comics’ offerings, comic book writer Mark Millar has issued a challenge to comic book retailers for a chance to have him do an signing session at their store for free.
Comic book stores who send photos of their staff dressed as Millarworld characters to millarworldpreviews@markmillarltd.com by midday GMT on Friday, May 8 will be entered for a chance to win a Mark Millar appearance at your store! The winner will be announced by Monday, May 11th and Millar will appear by plane, train, or automobile—at his expense—to sign at the winning store later this year.
Millar’s recent work at Image includes Jupiter’s Legacy, Starlight and the upcoming Chrononauts.
