Oni Press has announced its exclusive variants, panels, and creator appearances and signings at San Diego Comic Con.
If you’re going to Comic Con, here’s what you need to know: Can you cobble together an Invader Zim cosplay? If so, you can get a free copy of Invader ZIm #1 just by showing up in costume at the Oni Press booth, #1833. If not, the Invader Zim #1 variant, along with the other Oni Press variants, are all great merch to take home with you anyway.
If you’re going to the con with kids on Sunday, long known as “Kids’ Day” at the con, hit the Oni Press: Monster Art Battle panel, which is described as all-ages and at which all attendees get free comics.
Oni is ticketing their autograph sessions with Rick and Morty creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, Legend of Korra and Avatar creator Bryan Konietzko, and Invader Zim creator Jhonen Vasquez, so the good news is that you just have to make your way to the Oni Press booth at some point after arriving at the con and grab the tickets for the signings you want. Then you have to cross your fingers and watch the Oni Press twitter account. But you won’t have to kill your whole day by waiting in line.
If you’re not going to the con, and want to get your hands on SDCC merch, here’s your chance: you will be able to tweet your questions in response to a July 1st post from the Oni Press account, and if your question is selected for the July 11th The Return of Invader Zim panel, you get a copy of Invader Zim #1.
