image humble bundle

Image Comics has launched its latest Humble Bundle with its pay-what-you-want pricing structure, and this one is shining the spotlight on Creator Owned Worlds. The campaign is designed to bring awareness and support the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, part of America’s largest civil rights organization working on achieving lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality.

The Humble Bundle highlights many Image series that are created by or star LGBT characters. Readers will be able to choose from close to $400 worth of award-wining and bestselling titles and name their own price to do so.

Included in the sale are the first collected editions of series like ODY-C by Matt Fraction and Christian Ward, Virgil from Steve Orlando and JD Faith, Self-Obsessed by Sina Grace, No Mercy by Alex De Campi and Carla Speed McNeil, Phonogram by Kieron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie, Wolf from Ales Kot and Matt Taylor, Kaptara by Chip Zdarsky and Kagan McLeod, Sunstone by Stjepan Sejic and Wytches from Scott Snyder and Jock.

Creators Own Worlds customers will also receive a bundle of introductory issues of series like Paper Girls by Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang, Huck from Mark Millar and Rafael Albuquerque and Monstress from Marjorie Liu and Sana Takeda.

Fans who choose to purchase their issues for more than the average price will be rewarded with even more goodies. Those readers will receive Outcast Volume 1 by Robert Kirkman and Paul Azaceta, Just The Tips by Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky, Saga Volume 4 from Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples, Injection Volume 1 from Warren Ellis and Declan Shavley, Rat Queens Special: Braga from Kurtis Wiebe and Tess Fowler and Jupiter’s Circle Volume 1 by Mark Millar and Wilfredo Torres.

Anyone paying $20 or more for all of the above will also receive David Lapham’s Stray Bullets Uber Allies Edition (collecting issues 1-41), Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley’s Invincible Compendium (issues 1-47), Wayward Deluxe Edition Volume 1 by Jim Zub and Steven Cummings, Bitch Planet Volume 1 by Kelly Sue DeConnick and Valentine DeLandro and Low Volume 1 from Rick Remender and Greg Tocchini.

A free digital comic will be available every day for readers to sample the kind of books the publisher has to offer, with the first offering being Black Magick from Greg Rucka and Nicola Scott.

Customers can choose how their purchase dollars are allocated, between the charity and the publisher. The Humble Bundle is available until Wednesday, January 27 at 11 am Pacific time.
