Image Comics is taking its show on the road.
The Emerald City Comicon in Seattle will play host to the annual Image Expo event on April 6 from 10am-6pm. The publisher is teaming with ReedPOP, the leading producer of pop culture events, to bring the show to the Pacific Northwest. This year marks the first year the event will be held outside of California.
Image Expo is a day-long event for fans, retailers and media to experience a showcase of exciting announcements from the publisher. Some of the hottest names in the industry will be on hand, and fans will have unprecedented access to the writers and artists of their favourite Image titles.
Creators already announced include Jonathan Hickman (East of West), Rick Remender (Tokyo Ghost), Leila del Duca (Shutter), Joe Harris (Snowfall) and Alison Sampson (Genesis). More guests will be announced, and the publisher promises some surprise guests for the event as well.
Tickets are on sale by clicking here. General Admission tickets are $25, while Premium Admission tickets are $75 and tickets for Image Comics’ Spring Formal, the after party with a twist, are $15.
