bb_finaldeathtollThe Droid You’re Looking For ran a fascinating infographic illustrating all deaths in the television series Breaking Bad, the “Periodic Table of Death.” By the end of the series about an overqualified high school chemistry teacher who becomes the meth-cooking supervillain Heisenberg after he discovers he has terminal cancer, the show chalks up 269 deaths (not counting the turtle despite its inclusion in Tortuga’s silhouette). Of those 269, though, 167 of them are non-characters in the plane collision. No actors got paid to appear as them alive on the show. It  occurs to me that leaves 102 and, therefore, 100 characters die before Walter White – exactly 100 because Walt makes 101 and the ricin victim won’t die until a day later.

Go read the actual infographic at TDYLF.  The copy above is too small to read. If you really want to look it over (and it is worth a look), go peruse the original source and give TDYLF some well deserved feedback on it.

Hank stays true to the end. “You’re the smartest man I ever met, but you’re too stupid to see: He made up his mind ten minutes ago.”

If you wanted a spoiler warning when you clicked a link that already says “Breaking Bad: 100 Character Deaths Before the Big One,” you’re just looking for excuses to gripe about spoilers. And no, that headline is not a spoiler. It doesn’t say who or how.
