The Nascar audience this weekend will swell a little bit when DC Comics fans tune in to Nascar’s Auto Club 400 this Sunday, 3:30 PM EDT on Fox, to watch Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jimmie Johnson’s Superman and Batman cars participate in the race. This gives Superman and Batman a thematic battle five days before the premiere of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

This past Thursday, on the Warner Bros. lot, Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck visited with Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jimmie Johnson, and got to see the Superman and Batman cars. This photo shoot does a lot to build excitement for both the Auto Club 400 and the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The Batman car’s design, a little darker than the Superman car, doesn’t come off as well in these pictures, but Batman and racing enthusiasts will be able to get a good look at it soon, as it’s supposed to be a pretty nice day in Fontana, CA for the race tomorrow.
