If Avengers #1 was essentially Jonathan Hickman laying out his ambitious ideas for the series, then issue two is where Hickman explains his thought process behind it. Not only do we see how Tony Stark and Steve Rogers went about building a bigger and better Avengers team, we’re given a better look at Ex Nihlo and his plans for Earth. With this and some of the previous issue’s problems resolved, Avengers #2 should have been a clear winner.

The inspiring story of two comic nerds from Wichita Texas, Aj and Lee, that took a positive approach towards praising comics and made a show out of it that seems to be taking off at an exponential rate. These two have big plans for the future and are constantly changing to make their show more enjoyable. The show is separated into two parts, Monday is a back issue review, and Thursday is a new release review.

The first issue of the Marvel Now’s “Captain America” released on November 21st. It is cram packed with surprises to bring you into the new story line. This is the 7th version of the Captain America comic book and it’s better than ever. Villains like Zola and Green Skull make an appearance along with the return of Cap’s girlfriend, ex-field S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Sharon Carter.
