The busy superhero TV schedule is going to get a bit more crowded.

Titans, based on the DC Comics series of the same name, is one of several live-action series in development.  The planned main cast was revealed Monday, and headlining the list is Nightwing.

Dick Grayson, Batman’s original sidekick, will reportedly begin the series as Robin and transition to Nightwing. In this iteration, Grayson is a detective whose shingle hangs in Boston. He moved to Beantown after splitting away from the Dark Knight.

Joining Nightwing in the cast will be Barbara Gordon, Hawk, Dove, Starfire and Raven.

While not a traditional member of the Titans, Gordon does have deep ties to Grayson from her time in Gotham, at least in the comic world.

The original Hawk and Dove were brothers Hank and Don Hall, and in later years, a woman named Dawn Granger assumed the Dove mantle. In the series, the pair will be in a romantic relationship.

According to the story first reported on Nerdist.com, Starfire and Raven, two key team members introduced in the classic Marv Wolfman-George Perez era, will join the team by the end of the pilot.

The series has yet to be scheduled, but in December, DC Entertainment Chief Entertainment Officer (and former Titans writer) Geoff Johns said the pilot would be shot sometime this year.
