Loot Crate is one of many subscription services that cater to geeky, nerdy, and gamer crowds for monthly goodie boxes. However, I think Loot Crate is one of the best boxes out there in terms of value for your money, especially when it comes to their limited edition crates.

Check out the Star Wars crate for example. This thing is MASSIVE. It was hard getting the whole thing in one shot. I was afraid to move it around too much for fear of upsetting something inside (plus its heavy!).
Inside I found an assortment of Star Wars themed goodies for all ages.
EXCLUSIVE AT-AT Walker pom beanie hat
This beanie was really cool! (And it matches the scarf–double bonus!) I’m not much of a winter-hat-wearer, but I gave this and the scarf to my brother, and he loves them.
Star Wars 10-oz sculpted ceramic mug (1 of 3)
This is one of three versions of the mug. It was really cool to get in this crate, but the more I look at it in person, the more I’m perplexed. How am I supposed to drink out of it? The sculpt is decent and the paint is good, but its not a very good shape for actually drinking coffee from, so I’ll put this on my collectibles shelf.
EXCLUSIVE Wader Down #1 comic book
Exclusive Marvel Star Wars comic. I’m not a huge reader of comics, so I’ll likely give this to my brother, too.
Star Wars Little Golden Book Sets
This one is awesome! Do you remember Little Golden Books from when you were a kid? I used to have them EVERYWHERE in every story. I’m going to save this for my brother and his future wife (and their future children) as a gift. I’m stoked to thumb through these, though, and see how the Star Wars Universe is displayed for young padawans!
EXCLUSIVE BB-8 Raglan Tee
I love t-shirts, so I’m always excited to get shirts in subscription boxes. However, I’m not much of a “baseball tee” girl because of the way they fit me, so I was a little disappointed when I got the raglan in this box. That being said, the BB-8 on the shirt is super cute! I love BB-8 as a character and even if this doesn’t fit me 100% right, I’m going to rock it!
Pop Taters Darth Vader Mr. Potato Head
This Mr. Potato Head is pretty sweet!
EXCLUSIVE Star Wars Jacquard Knit Scarf
This scarf is awesome — and super long! I wore it a few times on some really cold days and its really warm,so definitely worthy as a scarf contender. However, it was too long on me, so I ended up giving it (and the hat) to my brother.
EXCLUSIVE Rebel Alliance Gadget Pouch (dopp kit)
What they’re calling a “gadget bag” is actually a dopp kit, but a really cool one. I am whole-heartedly a rebel, so I’m excited to use this on my travels. Look out, San Diego! The Rebel Alliance is coming for you this summer!
Kylo Ren Command Shuttle 3D Metal kit
Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle is a neat ship in the movie and I’m excited to dig into this metal model kit and make it myself. It says it doesn’t require glue or solder, so I’m hoping its easy to put together!
All of these things were STUFFED inside this gigantic black box. I didn’t know what to think of this at first. It was AWESOME getting it, even if I did get it after Christmas. It was like getting a second Christmas!
Definitely check out Loot Crate’s Special Edition crates in the future. If they’re all curated like this, then they’re sure to please! I received this crate from Loot Crate in exchange
