Looks like Oliver Queen will be even busier in Season 4 of Arrow or, from the description, has been busy. Actor Jimmy Akingbola has been cast as Baron Reiter (aka Baron Blitzkrieg, leader of the criminal organization, Shadowspire), who will be Oliver’s main antagonist during the flashback sequences. The casting is an interesting choice, only because of the character that is going to be portrayed. Here’s a pic:
See what I mean? It’s obvious by the costume when and where Baron Reiter is from. I’m sure Berlanti & company have altered the origin of Baron Blitzkrieg to fit the casting and Jimmy Akingbola will own the role. With that aside, the interesting thing to note is that, in the Comics, Baron Reiter has worked with Vandal Savage. That’s right, ladies & gentlemen. Looks like we have our first link between Arrow and Legends Of Tomorrow.
In other news, the beginning episodes of both Arrow & The Flash will be used to set up Legends Of Tomorrow. The appearance of White Canary (Sarah Lance, played by Caity Lotz) is supposed to be explained in an upcoming episode of Arrow.
