NerdSpan Style Guide: Excerpts

The article “excerpt” should be about this long so that it will fill enough space to keep the thumbnail image from trespassing into another article’s headline space. Even though it’s called an excerpt, it could be either an excerpt or a description of the article. Don’t use first person in the excerpt even if you used it in the first few sentences of the article. Don’t include anything ad-like in the excerpt.
