The entertainment juggernaut that is Sharknado 5 is almost upon us and NBC/Syfy have released a few press shots this week, showing that as usual they are taking it very, very seriously…

With the proper title of ‘Sharnado 5, Earth 0’ (a cheeky Jaws 3D reference), the synopsis shows a bigger canvas is at play this time around:

“With much of America lying in ruins, the rest of the world braces for a global sharknado, Fin and his family must travel around the world to stop them.”

The summer should be interesting…
