Loot Crate announced today their collaboration with Her Universe to create a new subscription box service called LOOT4FANGIRLS.
“The entertainment industry is slowly catching up with the diversity of its fans. With LOOT4FANGIRLS, Loot Crate is tapping into the underserved market of fangirls, which is rapidly expanding and changing the landscape of the industry,” said Chris Davis, CEO of Loot Crate. “Through our partnership with Her Universe, the premiere expert in the fangirl space, Loot Crate is furthering its commitment to serving all genres and genders in the world of fandom.”
No doubt the most anticipated items in the crates will be the Her Universe clothing, of which the initial item is a Her Universe dress available in sizes S to 3XL.
“We are excited to partner with Loot Crate on this special edition crate for Fangirls,” said Ashley Eckstein, founder of Her Universe. “We worked closely with Loot Crate to curate an awesome crate with a brand new, exclusive Her Universe dress that is very empowering! We can’t wait to see fans reactions to the reveal of the super cool products featured in the crate at San Diego Comic-Con this month.”
In addition to the Her Universe fashion items, there will be accessories, Espionage Cosmetics, a collectible figure, and “out of this world gear.” Five items in all, with the initial price being $55 + S/H, and initial entertainment franchises include Marvel, Star Trek, Borderlands, DC Comics, and AMC’s The Walking Dead.
Online subscriptions to LOOT4FANGIRLS open on July 18th, and San Diego Comic-Con attendees will also be able to purchase the inaugural box a few days thereafter by going to SDCC booth #241. Subscription prices go up to $65 +S/H on July 25th though, so you may pay ten dollars more if you want to wait on the Comic-Con buzz. While subscriptions are currently not open, the landing page is live, and you can bookmark it here.
