Devotees of The Good Place are loving the show not only for its comical exploration of religious and philosophical explanations of morality as well as its bizarre afterlife concept that combines the worst parts of amusement parks and gated communities, but also for the show’s killer app, Janet, who does and says anything the architect and the soul elite ask her to do or say.  She’s Siri as we would like her to be, a Siri Genie that can fulfill our every wish and talk a little sassy while she’s doing it.  Because we like a little talk-back in our apps.  In fact, iPhone and iPad owners love so much to find all the bizarre, silly, and sometimes sarcastic responses hidden in Siri, that people will take the better part of an hour to listen to them all.  In The Good Place, viewers get two or three zingers out of Janet per episode, and in this clip for “The Eternal Shriek,” you get a really good one that puts the spotlight on D’Arcy Carden’s ability to steal a scene.
