The first four episodes of Game of Thrones season five have been appearing across the Internet. The pirate copies are believed to have come from press and editorial DVDs with blurred out digital watermarks.
This could be bad news for spoilerphobes who don’t plan on avoiding all forms of technology for the next few weeks.
The HBO series has the dubious honour of being the most pirated show on the internet for the last three years, and had around 7 million downloads from February to April 2015, making it as controllable as one of Daenerys Targaryen’s dragons. Depending on where you are in the world, Game of Thrones season five officially started either yesterday or today.
