Ed Kramer mug shot (January, 2013).

DragonCon co-founder Ed Kramer was extradited back to Georgia from Connecticut this month to face child molestation charges which date back to August of 2000. He is currently being held in Gwinnett County jail without bail. Kramer was recently detained in Milford, Connecticut, where he was allegedly found to have a 14 year old boy in his motel room alone. A condition of his bond mandated that Kramer was not to have unsupervised contact with children under 16.
As news of this recent extradition has made its way around the internet, people have become very vocal regarding this ongoing matter. Creators such as Nancy Collins have called for a boycott while others such as Ron Marz and Adrianne Curry have pledged to not attend the convention. Comment boards are also finding many Kramer sympathizers who want to ‘let the man have his day in court’.

Out of curiosity, are these unlinked sympathizers outright Ed Kramer sympathizers, or just due process sympathizers?

Wanting to let him have his day in court does not make someone a Kramer sympathizer.

B!x,
There looks to be at least a couple of camps. Some would just like to see Kramer tried in something other than the court of public opinion, others want to rally around Ed Kramer personally.
