Yesterday, BOOM! Studios issued its second “Road to San Diego” announcement: Cullen Bunn and Vanesa R. Del Rey’s The Empty Man has not only become the second BOOM! movie in development, it is now their first movie in active production after their exclusive deal with 20th Century Fox.
Filming will begin in South Africa this fall, with James Badge Dale of 13 Hours and Rubicon announced to star.
