BOOM!’s biggest “Road to San Diego” announcement is Mouse Guard the Movie, based on David Petersen’s immensely popular anthropomorphic fantasy, and that Rogue One: A Star Wars Story screenwriter Gary Whitta is attached to the project.  Additionally, it will be produced by Matt Reeves, producer of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and director of Cloverfield, along with BOOM!’s own Ross Richie and Stephen Christy.

David Petersen will appear with screenwriter Whitta this weekend for a panel called “The World of Mouse Guard, along with BOOM! Associate Edigtor Cameron Chittock and Hal Lublin of The Thrilling Adventure Hour.
