It’s been nine years since the controversial and critically-panned Spider-Man storyline, “One More Day,” erased the 29-year marriage of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson, but this November the web-head and redhead are renewing their vows.

Penned by Gerry Conway and illustrated by Ryan Stegman, Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows #1 is another Spider-Man book that explores an alternate reality teased by the Secret Wars crossover event (think Spider-Gwen). For Renew Your Vows, it’s a world where Spider-Man didn’t sell his marriage to the devil in favor of keeping his elderly Aunt May alive. Additionally, it’s a world where Annie May – the daughter of Spider-Man – has superpowers of her own and fights crime alongside her father.

The debut issue of Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows #1 will be released on November 9th in print and digital forms. And yes, there will be plenty of variant covers by top comic book artists to accompany its release.
