Sailor Moon Online Slumber Party Celebrates Release of English Dub
Ok, Sailor Scouts, get ready: the English dub of the classic Sailor Moon series debuts on Hulu and Neon Alley TODAY, September 5th. The first four episodes will be available on the 5th with English dubs of episodes 5-23 available on the 7th of September. Episodes 35-36, the first time fans will see the whole team together, will be available on Hulu and Neon Alley on September 8th.
To celebrate the release of the English dubs, VIZ Media is hosting an online “slumber party” titled Moonlight Party: A Celebration of Sailor Moon Reborn! The event will be on VIZ Media’s YouTube channel. Festivities start at 8 pm PST on September 5th. The event will let viewers watch the first four episodes on the channel with commentary, inside facts, and information from VIZ’s headquarters in San Francisco.
Fan can submit their Sailor Moon questions through the comments section of the live YouTube broadcast, the VIZ Media Facebook page, and on Twitter with the hashtag #MoonlightParty. The Sailor Moon team will be available to answer any questions about the popular series. A trivia contest will take place during the event. Fans can submit answer through Facebook and Twitter. If you plan on hosting your own Moonlight Party during the event, be sure to share your pictures using #MoonlightParty!
And if that isn’t enough, don’t forget that the fifth episode of Sailor Moon Crystal will be premiering September 6th and introduces Makoto Kino! Sailor Moon Set 1 limited edition DVD/BD combo pack and standard edition DVD will be released on November 11th, 2014.
New Digital Manga Series Premieres and Updates for September
VIZ Manga is the go-to distributor for innovative and popular manga series.
