VIZ Media has announced a distribution agreement with Simon & Schuster Australia, which will mean that VIZ Media manga and anime will be available in Australia and New Zealand, including the VIZ imprints Shonen Jump, Shonen Jump Advanced, Shojo Beat, Shonen Sunday, Perfect Square, VIZ Signature, Studio Ghibli Library and Haikasoru.
No initial releases or distribution schedules have yet been announced, although images of Tokyo Ghoul and One-Punch Man accompanied the press release, and as these are particularly hot titles for Viz right now, it could be anticipated that manga fans down under may be able to purchase them at local bookstores shortly.
