Trailer Park – 2014 Edition #1
Back by popular demand! Well, ok… It’s back, just like the 4th Transformers film. Nobody wants it and needs it, but here it is. None the less, here is a heads up on some big films coming up (and some indie films that I can sneak in there from time to time). Click on the film’s poster for the trailer.
GODZILLA
WHO: Gareth Evans, Bryan Cranston
WHAT: Really? It’s Godzilla. He smashes stuff.
WE SAY: Cannot be more excited for this film. Sure the Godzilla of 1998 was one of the worst things in history, but this seems to be in some very competent hands.
WALK OF SHAME
WHO: Elizabeth Banks, James Marsden
WHAT: A reporter’s dream of becoming a news anchor is compromised after a one-night stand leaves her stranded in downtown L.A.
WE SAY: I like Elizabeth Banks, but this doesn’t look like things went well.
A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST
WHO: Seth MacFarlane, Charlize Theron
WHAT: As a cowardly farmer begins to fall for the mysterious new woman in town, he must put his newfound courage to the test when her husband announces his arrival.
WE SAY: Looks like a whole bunch of Family Guy-style jokes. This is in no way a bad thing, but come on, you know what you are getting here!
SIN CITY: A DAME TO DIE FOR
WHO: Frank Miller, Robert Rodriguez, Jessica Alba
WHAT: More stories from Basin City.
WE SAY: This long awaited sequel has undergone a name change already, but never the less, we’re back in Sin City. Frank Miller even wrote a new story just for this film. The first film stunned audiences with its visuals. It’ll be hard to do the same a second time around, so the writing better be spot on.
