Welcome back, Supernatural. How you’ve been missed! You left us for months after a redeeming eighth season that made up for the mess Season 7 left. You even joked about it with us, letting us know it wasn’t a solo clown trip. In Season 8 you were back in fine, if frenetic, form and you let us know you meant business.

The season finale of the BBC’s clone-tastic series Orphan Black begins! What will the season finale answer? That’s the wrong question. What new mysteries will be left dangling in our faces? That’s the right one. Through one episode after another, Orphan Black has kept us guessing, and this one is no exception.

So many questions, so very little time. “Unconscious Selection” beautifully describes the actions of all these clones, how their very personhood is differentiated, not just from birth, but from their life experiences, and how it’s all led them here, to this point.

In what is surprisingly the last art-off between the contestants, the final three are left to compete for the top spot. In Project Runway style, the final three are being sent home and given two months (or, 86,400 minutes as Jerry so preciously intones) to complete the work for the final challenge.

It’s Maki vs. Lexxy in the dungeon. While there’s not much that can really be said for this elimination, as it was all kind of blasé, what really stood out as the death knells for one of them were two of Lexxy’s comments.

After last episode’s Landmarkpalooza, The Final Four are back at the Penny Arcade headquarters for some contractual schooling. Good luck guys. But, as Graham reminds them (and us), it’s easy to get hosed with a bad contract, as Jerry and Mike once learned when they once signed away all the rights to Penny Arcade. Let’s not let those kinds of things happen, hmmm?
