Beginning the second half of the series, Chew 31 starts with a funeral and bring Tony and Colby back together to solve cases in the way only they can. This issue moves away from the somber tone of the previous issue, and gets back to the “buddy-cop” style of earlier issues. Flaming fat people and chicken-induced holy wars set up the next big conflict in Chew.
