Sherlock: A Study in Pink #4 passes the half way point of the series and it keeps getting better. If one of the aims of releasing the manga of Sherlock was to make us fall in love with Sherlock again, it’s working. It’s been a few years since I watched the TV version but I’m remembering  a lot of the things I liked about it in the first place.

I’m also being reminded of the Sherlock: A Study in Pink #4little details I forgot. This leaves me with a small dilemma. I could watch it again now, but slightly spoil the ending of the comic if I’ve forgotten something, or I have to wait another few weeks for the final copy is released. Decisions, decisions!

By #4 of a 6 series comic you know what to expect with the writing and art. It’s as good as always, and Holmes and Watson are getting into their double act routine featuring an awkward conversation about relationships, followed by Holmes having a breakthrough about transport related to the case.

Holmes and Watson are investigating a series of mysterious suicides, but the evidence point towards murder. latest  Holmes believes the killer has the latest victim’s phone and uses it to arrange a meeting. Could a genius murderer be so arrogant or foolish as to agree to it?
