If you’re a fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and wondered what Kevin Eastman thinks about when doing a story, then this book is for you.
IDW has been killing it with their TMNT books (Thank you!), and this one is no exception. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Kevin Eastman Notebook Series: 2014 Annual (Whew, that’s a mouthful.) takes fans into the mind of Kevin Eastman by presenting us with a reproduction of Eastman’s project notebook for IDW’s TMNT: 2014 Annual. (I’m sure he has thousands of these notebooks.) It’s one thing to hear about what Artists & Writers go through when developing a project, but to get such an inside look behind-the-curtain is amazing. TMNT fans are being given character designs, page layouts, script notes, etc. As a fan of TMNT and a person who enjoys seeing how stuff is made, this is a treat. I hope IDW keeps up the great work.
