I Hate Fairyland is the product of Skottie Young & Jean-Francois Beaulieu, published by Image Comics, and it is gloriously awesome in the cutest, most violent & gory way. I Hate Fairyland #3 continues the story of Gertrude, along with her guide Larry, and her quest for the key out of Fairyland. Visiting is nice, but 27 years? Yeah, that’ll mess you up. Of course, many of the inhabitants of Fairyland aren’t happy either. So, what does the Queen do? Bring in another little girl to complete the quest and in doing so will allow her to kill Gertrude. Enter Happy.
This book is just awesome on so many levels. The art, the writing, and the story itself are all fantastic. Obviously, no matter how cute the art is, this book is not for little children. However, your inner devious child will love it. Go out and get it.
