Junior Braves of the Apocalypse Book 1: A Brave is Brave, a zombie apocalypse novel for young adults, is arriving from ONI Press as a hardcover graphic novel on July 8th. Those who can’t wait for the book can head to comiXology, where the graphic novel will be serialized in six weekly digital installments to begin on May the 5th and to conclude on June the 9th.

PORTLAND, OR April 22nd, 2015 – Oni Press, Portland’s premier independent comic book publisher, announced today the weekly digital chapter release on ComiXology of their upcoming young adult zombie survival graphic novel, Junior Braves of the Apocalypse Book 1: A Brave is Brave, by writers Greg Smith and Michael Tanner, and artist Zach Lehner. The 6-part weekly digital chapter release will begin May 5th and continue every week through June 9th, before the full physical release as a hardcover graphic novel on July 8th.
Junior Braves of the Apocalypse follows the young scouts of Tribe 65, returning from a camping trip to find swarms of bloodthirsty zombies have overrun their town, bringing death and destruction everywhere they go. With their families missing and their homes destroyed, these plucky kids must use of all their scouting talents, combined smarts, and teamwork to survive the end of the world.
