PORTLAND, OR April 22nd, 2015 – Oni Press, Portland’s premier independent comic book publisher, announced today the weekly digital chapter release on ComiXology of their upcoming young adult zombie survival graphic novel, Junior Braves of the Apocalypse Book 1: A Brave is Brave, by writers Greg Smith and Michael Tanner, and artist Zach Lehner. The 6-part weekly digital chapter release will begin May 5th and continue every week through June 9th, before the full physical release as a hardcover graphic novel on July 8th.
Junior Braves of the Apocalypse follows the young scouts of Tribe 65, returning from a camping trip to find swarms of bloodthirsty zombies have overrun their town, bringing death and destruction everywhere they go.
