NBC has released most of Eleanor’s confession to Michael in this clip from next week’s episode of The Good Place, “Most Improved Player.” Bear in mind that Eleanor’s crimes so far include the murder of the killer app, Janet, the corruption of Chidi, collusion with Jianyu to stay in Heaven, and, in this clip, habitual lying about her age. She’s a monster!
Janet, after being murdered in last week’s episode, is still rebooting during this clip. Michael, asking for Janet’s file, gets handed a cactus.
Michael, having just met the real Eleanor, comments, “you lied so much, you forgot your own birth date. Not a great start.” However, the episode title hints that Eleanor, despite her admission of guilt, will be allowed to stay in The Good Place provisionally—or we wouldn’t have much of a show, would we?
