The BBC have released a new trailer for Doctor Who, series 9 (starting 19 September), and if the first trailer doesn’t work in your region, the BBC America version is below. Very impressive it looks too.
There’s a return of Missy, and Maisie Williams is rumoured to be playing Susan or possibly even Jenny (the clone/daughter created during the David Tennant era in “The Doctor’s Daughter”).
Looking at the episode listing, 1-2, 3-4, 7-8, 11-12 are all two-parters. 5-6 are possibly linked, being called “The Girl Who Died” and “The Woman Who Lived”. Steven Moffat is writer of several episodes, along with scripts from Toby Whitehouse, Jamie Mathieson, Peter Harness, Mark Gatiss, Sarah Dollard and Catherine Tregenna.
