In a wave of press releases leading up to their participation in New York Comic Con 2016, Dark Horse has announced a wide slate of projects for 2017, including new Legend of Korra, Alien, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect adaptations.
Aliens: Dead Orbit, arriving April 26th, 2017, is described as
Aliens: Dead Orbit finds Wascylewsk, an engineering officer, trapped in a space station after a horrific accident. Wascylewsk is forced to use all available tools—a timer, a utility kit, and his wits—to survive an attack from the deadliest creature known to man. James Stokoe (Wonton Soup, Orc Stain) writes and illustrates the series. Geof Darrow (The Shaolin Cowboy, The Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot) will provide a variant cover for the first issue.
The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars arrives in June 2017, and is described as:
Turf Wars begins with Korra and Asami leaving the spirit world and returning to Republic City only to find political hijinks and human vs. spirit conflict, as a pompous developer plans to turn the new spirit portal into an amusement park, potentially severing an already tumultuous connection with the spirits. In addition, the triads have realigned and are in a brutal brawl at the city’s borders where hundreds of evacuees have relocated. In order to get through it all, Korra and Asami vow to look out for each other—but first, they’ve got to get better at being a team.
Dark Horse’s collaboration with Bioware will result in two new projects for 2017, Mass Effect: Andromeda and Dragon Age: Knight Errant, to include new comic book series, coloring books, and more.
The Mass Effect: Andromeda program will begin in 2017. Mass Effect Adult Coloring Book will be available for purchase on March 1, 2017. The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda goes on sale March 21, 2017. Dark Horse is also creating limited editions that will be available for pre-order soon at The BioWare Store (biowarestore.com). The first issue of the comic series Mass Effect: Discovery will be available in spring 2017. The Mass Effect: Discovery story is by Mass Effect: Andromeda Creative Director Mac Walters, Mass Effect: Andromeda Lead Writer John Dombrow, and Jeremy Barlow (Star Wars Adventures, Mass Effect: Foundation). Jeremy Barlow writes the script, and Gabriel Guzmán provides his artistic skills. Mass Effect: Andromeda—The Poster Collection will be available for purchase in fall 2017.
The next Dragon Age series is titled Dragon Age: Knight Errant. Nunzio DeFilippis and Christina Weir (Skinwalker, Three Strikes) write the series, while Fernando Heinz Furukawa illustrates it. Sachin Teng will create the covers. The first issue goes on sale May 10, 2017. Dragon Age Adult Coloring Book will go on sale February 8, 2017.

Sounds like ******* trash. “but first, they’ve got to get better at being a team.” Really? ******* serious? They were literally the most **** *** team in the entire series, practically reading each others minds and super effective about getting **** done and now they are going to throw this “they don’t work well as a team” garbage in because they ran out of ideas and content.
