Archie Comics and its imprints are bringing out some of the highest quality content at comic shops this week, with the second issue of The Fox, the eagerly awaited Afterlife with Archie #8, and two excellent collections of vintage Archie comics, the Archie 1000 Page Comics Blowout and Jughead and Archie Comics Double Digest #12. The latter collection, in addition to its 154 pages of vintage Archie, also has Tania Del Rio, Fernando Ruiz, and Bob Smith’s new six page story, “Jughead and Archie Meet Dede,” in which Jughead and Archie head to their comic shop, Pep Comics, to pick up The Fox.
With all these highest quality releases, it is good to keep in mind that Archie also continues to give you more value in your dollar than any other comic publisher, with 1224 pages of comics this week for only 27.96, or slightly over two cents a page.
