Archie Comics Previews for July 15th

Archie Comics releases Jughead and Archie Jumbo Comics Double Digest #14 and the new digital exclusive Archie: Hook, Line and Sinker, and Archie Action releases Mega Man #51, and Sonic: Worlds Unite Battles #1.

Archie Andrews finds himself in another love triangle when he asks DeDe Diaz out to a movie that she’s been wanting to see with Jughead in this week’s new lead Jumbo DIgest story, “Triple Date,” by Tania del Rio and Fernando Ruiz.

Archie character first appearances can sometimes turn into big collectibles (search Archie’s Girls Betty and Veronica #320 on eBay). As you can probably still find DeDe’s first appearance in Jughead and Archie Jumbo Comics Double Digest #12 for cover price, this is one investment that you want to make, especially as she’s the cause of an Archie-Jughead-DeDe love triangle, which flips the dynamic of the traditional Archie love triangle. You should get this week’s issue too, as it may be known years from now as the “first classic Archie-Jughead-DeDe” love triangle story.
