Adventure Time: Pixel Princesses
Continuing with the successful run of Adventure Time comics, BOOM!’s all-ages KaBOOM! imprint is debuting it’s second original Adventure Time graphic novel, Pixel Princesses.
From the press release: “KaBOOM! Studios, an imprint of BOOM! Studios, is proud to debut its second original graphic novel, ADVENTURE TIME VOL. 2: PIXEL PRINCESSES. The stand-alone story is written by Danielle Corsetto and illustrated by Zack Sterling, the same team behind ADVENTURE TIME VOL. 1: PLAYING WITH FIRE. It ships with a main cover illustrated by Stephanie Gonzaga (ADVENTURE TIME: FIONNA & CAKE).
“PIXEL PRINCESSES is non-stop fun,” says BOOM! Studios Editor-in-Chief Matt Gagnon. “Some of our favorite Adventure Time princesses find themselves on a wild trip that strikes a great balance between humor and adventure. Danielle Corsetto and Zack Sterling once again make a terrific team in our second ADVENTURE TIME OGN. This is a must-have for any ADVENTURE TIME fan.”
WHY WE LOVE IT: Our favorite princesses are getting a chance to take the main stage as they learn the importance of friendship and what it really means to wear a crown.
WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT: It’s a book about how Princesses can overcome their differences while at the same time kicking butt and taking names!
WHAT IT’S ABOUT: Princess gatherings aren’t always tea parties and doilies—there is a lot more to being a Princess that one might think. Danielle Corsetto (GIRLS WITH SLINGSHOTS) and Zack Sterling return with an adventure where some of our favorite princesses learn what it really takes to be a princess, while learning to respect each other for their unique outlooks on life.”
The graphic novel ships this November with Diamond order code SEP13 1012. At 160 pages and just an $11.99 price tag, it’s a great deal, featuring great characters and a great creative team.
