Marvel Comics has released a three page, unlettered preview and cover gallery from James Robinson and Vanesa Del Rey’s Scarlet Witch #1. The series is described as Wanda Maximoff’s “globetrotting quest to repair the magical forces across the Marvel Universe” which leads her to wonder “who is the mastermind who broke it in the first place?”
Perhaps a clue is in Tom Raney’s Marvel ’92 variant cover, in which he poses Scarlet Witch like classic Silver Surfer villain Mephisto, atop a throne made of skulls, fire, and smoke.
Scarlet Witch #1 arrives at comic shops on December 9th.
